The Music of Beyond Agony

Impaired
Impaired. Believe it or not, everyone is prejudice to a certain degree. There is no one that has not judged, or has not been judged. Social status is based on a number of aspects from skin color, religion, job titles, down to the clothes we wear and the music we listen to. Judgment is a basis for conflict. I based this song particularly on parents who stereotype other people's kids while praising their own, believing that their little angels can do no wrong. I've found that the majority of the time it is the other way around. Teenage years are a critical time in people's lives when they find themselves, and what they will grow to be. It is a time when judgment of character thrives. Being a teen that wore black and listened to metal music, I had to deal with that prejudice, and still do today. People feel threatened by what is different or unknown, and are quick to jump to conclusions. So before you judge someone else, judge yourself and the ones you are associated with, for we all have impurities.

Tragedy in the Making
Tragedy in the Making reflects the beliefs that are installed in all of us, that it's a dog eat dog world where if you don't fall in line with the rest of society, you are left behind. Sad but true, the world we live in today revolves around the almighty dollar. Money is the lifeline to almost everything. Money drives industry, which pollutes our planet, and destroys natural habitat. Supply and demand only grows resulting in more neglect to Mother Earth. Though I am one, the majority of Americans make me sick. All we think about is ourselves, failing to praise what we have, and quick to complain on what we don't. Greed can be a very dangerous thing. People are cheated, robbed, even killed over possession. There is nothing wrong with wanting, just be aware of cause and effect. The choice is in our hands. We are the deciding factor. Realize that life is not all about material things, but how you can contribute to a better cause. Live with that state of mind and we will all benefit ten fold.

Divulge
DIVULGE reveals the bloody side of warfare, the one that is not watered down by the media. It unmasks our trigger-happy leaders who are quick to deploy the expendable. If you listen, I will tell you about military engagements that see no hopeful resolutions, yet still continue. Unfortunately, I've seen this several times and I've only been around for a little over a score. Personally I like to think before I act. It tends to result in an all around better outcome. Apparently this is not a prerequisite of entering politics. I didn't write divulge to bitch about war or military power, but to make known my disgust for those who misuse it.

Fall to Ruins
Fall to Ruins is about the demise of leadership when it is abused. It's a story about poverty stricken people conforming in the masses to overthrow their corrupted king, making him pay for everything he has done to them. Fall to Ruins is the built up anguish of stricken people. Anguish that turns to hatred. Hatred that drives the vengeful mind. Vengeance that sends the corrupt to the depths of a dark eternity.

Too Many Times
Too Many Times is about breaking away from any cripple that may haunt someone. Finding the strength to realize when something is not right and actually doing something about it. I've seen so many people who allow themselves to be walked on. Maybe they feel that it is for a better cause. I feel that if something is not one hundred percent, it is nothing but a lost cause. So many people hold on to a false happiness. Starting a new chapter in ones life is not always a smooth transition, but hopefully this song will inspire people to stand up for themselves. I hope it will give them the strength to take back what they feel has been stolen, manipulated or disrespected. No one should have to put up with these factors. So don't take the abuse. Stand up for yourself. Most of all, making yourself happy is what's really important.
